Holiday Events in Charleston

Towne Centre Tree Lighting Ceremony

On November 17th, there will be a towne centre tree lighting ceremony.  There is no better way to kick off the holidays.  The ceremony will begin at 6p.m.  Bring out the entire family and watch as the lights sparkle on the beautiful tree.  There will also be other night festivities to take part in.

Holiday Magic – Marion Square

On December 1st come down to the Marion Square and enjoy the Holiday Magic.  This event runs the entire month of December making sure that everyone has a chance to get there.  Enjoy the holiday farmers market with extended hours in order to make sure you get all of your holiday gifts and goodies.  Afterwards check out the official city of Charleston Christmas tree lighting ceremony, which will take place at 4:30pm in the park.  End the evening by watching the Holiday parade of boats from 5-8pm on the Cooper River.

Mount Pleasant Holiday Parade

Come to Mt. Pleasant on December 12th and get yourself ready for the countdown of Christmas.  Enjoy the holiday parade where you will see many fun and exciting holiday characters.  This is a great place to bring the kids where there will be fun and unique gifts.  Keep an eye out for some holiday candy too.
